1. Parties
This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Sunrise Van and Car Rental LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") and the individual or entity renting the vehicle ("Renter," "you," or "your").
2. Vehicle Rental
The Company agrees to rent to the Renter, and the Renter agrees to rent from the Company, the vehicle described in the rental documentation for the rental period and at the rates specified.
3. Driver Requirements
All drivers must:
- Be at least 25 years old (21-24 with young driver fee)
- Possess a valid driver's license held for at least 2 years
- Have no major driving violations in the past 3 years
- Maintain valid auto insurance covering the rental vehicle
- Be listed on the rental agreement as an authorized driver
4. Insurance Requirements
Renter must maintain valid automobile insurance that provides coverage for the rental vehicle, including liability, collision, and comprehensive coverage. Proof of insurance is required at the time of rental.
5. Use of Vehicle
The vehicle may only be used for lawful purposes and must not be:
- Used by unauthorized drivers
- Operated in violation of traffic laws
- Used for commercial purposes without prior approval
- Taken outside the agreed service area without permission
- Used while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Used for racing, towing, or off-road driving
6. Rental Period
The rental period begins and ends as specified in the rental documentation. Early returns may not result in refunds. Late returns may incur additional charges.
7. Payment Terms
- Full payment is due prior to vehicle pickup/delivery
- A security deposit is required and will be held until vehicle return
- Additional charges may apply for mileage overages, fuel, damage, or late returns
8. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If returned with less fuel, the Renter will be charged for fuel at current rates plus a refueling service fee.
9. Damage Responsibility
The Renter is responsible for all damage to the vehicle during the rental period, including but not limited to collision damage, interior damage, and damage caused by negligence or misuse. See our Damage Responsibility policy for details.
10. Cancellation
Reservations may be cancelled subject to our cancellation policy. See our Cancellation Policy for specific terms and refund information.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's liability is limited to the rental charges paid. The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
13. Entire Agreement
This Agreement, together with the rental documentation signed at pickup, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties.
